Pastor Darrion Zachery Somerville, Sr.

Was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and is the youngest child born to Rev. Dwayne and Lisa Somerville. Pastor Somerville graduated from Creekside High School in Fairburn GA in 2007. Pastor Somerville served in the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 2014, after completing tours of duty in Afghanistan, Qatar, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey.

Pastor Somerville is an entrepreneur. he is the CEO and owner of the Consulting Firm, Somerville Technology Solutions. He has received and has been nominated for several awards in both military and civilian life.

Pastor Somerville earned an associate in computer science from CCAF. He is a graduate of Luther Rice University in Atlanta GA with a Dual bachelor’s degree in biblical counseling and religion. Pastor Somerville earned a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Rice Theological Seminary and a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Western Governors University. He uses his experience in technology and passion for God to give back to his community as a Cyber Security and Religion Professor at Benedict College. 

Pastor Somerville has been a part of several organizations such as Sumter Together, 100 Black men of Greater Columbia, Black Concerned Clergy, Young Professionals Urban League of Columbia, Prince Hall Masons, Volunteer Chaplain for Tuomey Hospital in Sumter SC, Basketball Coach for the Sumter YMCA, and Bates Middle School.  Rev. Somerville is a member of St. Paul Lodge #8 Prince Hall Masons of Sumter, SC.

The son of a preacher, Pastor Somerville has been serving in ministry his entire life. He accepted the call to preach and was licensed on June 10th, 2012.  pastor Somerville was ordained on January 11th, 2015. In January 2023 Pastor Somerville was Installed as the 11th Pastor of the Historic Mount Prospect Baptist Church in Rock Hill South Carolina.  Pastor Somerville is married to the love of his life Mrs. Akeia Somerville and is a father to six beautiful children.
